Our Commitment

The Magick Cauldron is committed to making www.magickcauldron.com usable for people with disabilities, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or voice control. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a one-time project.

What We Do

• Use a clear heading structure so pages can be navigated by heading.
• Add text descriptions (alt text) to meaningful images.
• Choose text and background colors with strong contrast, and avoid putting important information in color alone.
• Make sure menus, links, buttons and forms can be used with a keyboard.
• Label form fields so screen readers announce them correctly.
• Build pages that adjust to phones, tablets and browser zoom without losing content.
• Review new pages and products for accessibility as we add them.

Known Limitations

We carry thousands of items, and some older product photos and descriptions may not yet meet every guideline. Some features come from other companies, such as PayPal checkout, embedded Google Maps and videos, and social media links. We choose reputable providers but do not control the accessibility of their content. We are working through these areas and welcome reports of anything that gets in your way.

If any part of the website is hard to use, our staff will gladly help. Call the store at 713-523-0069 during business hours and we can answer product questions, check stock and help you place an order by phone.

Store hours: Monday – Saturday 10am – 7pm, Sunday 12pm – 6pm.
