About Us
The Magick Cauldron first opened its doors in 1985 in Houston Texas off the Katy Freeway. Paul Premazon's vision was to provide a place where the pagan community could come to and get whatever they needed for their various practices.
As the company grew, the Magick Cauldron needed more space and moved to Richmond Ave. just outside of the Montrose area near downtown. From here the Cauldron expanded its inventory and services. Again, the company cntinued to grow and eventually moved to increase showroom space. The next location was on Westheimer where it stayed for a few years until August of 2001.
In 2001, business expanded so much that the decision was finally made to purchase a permanent home for the store. The new location on Montrose Blvd. has become the new and final home for the Magick Cauldron.
With our 3000 sq. ft. showroom we are able to provide the widest selection of items and ever changing trends in Wicca and pagan religions. We carry over 3,000 book titles with acces to thousands more upon request. We carry over 50 types of Tarot Cards from various authors and by popular request of you, the customer over the past couple decades. We update and add more to our jewelry section of the store monthly always tryingot stay ahead and keep a fresh perspective. We now carry over 10,000 pieces of jewelry mostly sterling silver and some in gold as well as non-lead pewter.
From our involvement with the Texas Renaissance faire we now have five booths out at the Magnolia location. This has expanded our selection of swords and knives. In our Montrose location we have somewhere in the neighborhood of 100+ swords and 250+ knives.
We try to cater to hand made crafts and products when we can. Our premuim incense, Raven's Nest, is locally made and some of the best in the world, in our opinion. With over 32 scents and each stick burn time of over an hour, we pride ourselves on our selection of this fine incense.
We have since 1985 expanded our herbs section to now include over 125 herbs that can be purchased by the ounce. We have it all and if we don't, we'll tell you where you can find what you are looking for! How's that for customer service?
So what is the future of the Magick Cauldron? We don't know, but we would like to think that we will be around for another 25 years and provide the best service and products for you, our cherished customers and friends. We have met tens of thousands of patrons that have come through our doors and in the millions from the website since its inception in 1997.
Through good times and bad, our customers lke consistency. We are proud to be able to provide that safe haven for our customers who know they can rely upon us for all their pagan supply needs.
